A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Wolverine after being shot by one of the Reavers in Lady Deathstrike's trap, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season three episode "Out of the Past, Part 1," which aired on July 29, 1994. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 7.5"x5.75", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, including scratches, light black line fade, residue near Wolverine's mask, and paper backing transfer stuck to the reverse of the paint from storage and studio use. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for presentation purposes.
