A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a fantastic group image of Gambit, Jubilee, Rogue, and Storm as they visit Jean Grey in the hospital, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season three episode "The Phoenix Saga, Part III: Cry of the Banshee," which aired on September 7, 1994. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 7.25"x7.5", the cel is in very good condition with minor scratches, surface wear, light line fade, and slight paper transfer stuck to the reverse of the paint due to studio storage. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for display purposes.
