Homer Simpson “Some Enchanted Evening” Development Drawing (1990) - ID: jan24188

A development drawing from the Fox Studios prolific animated series "The Simpsons" (1987-present). Featuring a charming illustration of Homer Simpson in formal wear with a bouquet of flowers, the graphite drawing was created at the studio and used during the animation process for an episode in the 1990s. It is possible that it was used in the season one episode “Some Enchanted Evening” as the drawing came from an animator who worked on the episode. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 8"x5.5”, the drawing is in very good condition with minor wear from age and handling including edge wear, discoloration, two creases at the bottom right corner, and creasing at the edges and corners.
